In 1814, a new Haslingden circuit was formed, so that by 1833 the circuit was reduced to the following societies:
Bury Radcliffe Close Radcliffe Bridge Unsworth - north & south from 1860, Moulding Tottington Brooksbottom & Summerseat Stone Pale (Whitefield) - to 1840
[records of Haslingden, Manchester Road circuit are held by Lancashire Record Office, Preston]
The following additional societies were subsequently formed within the circuit:

After Methodist union in 1933, the circuit continued as Bury (Union St.) circuit until 1949, when all Methodist churches in the area were reorganised into a single new Bury circuit (for records of this circuit see CBH).
