Journal of a World tour, diaries and other papers.
1: 'Diary 1879, journal of James Berry in Canada' (includes sketch maps, pictures,photos, ticket stubs, pressed leaves, menus etc.)
2: 'Diary (continued) Canada, Aug.Sept. 1879' (includes drawings, pictures, photos, pressed leaves, cabin passenger list, expenses,etc).
3: 'Journal in Isle of Man, August 1918'.
4: 'Journal in Canary Islands and Spain, 1923' (includes pencil sketch)
5: 'Voyage to Trinidad and Panama,Feb 1926 -April
6: Manuscript with illustrations of 'Journal of a trip to New Zealand and back, 1892' (pages numbered 1- 428), also manuscript introduction page to be included on front sheet of typescript. This manuscript was typed up Miss Gibbs in Dec 1940.
7: 2 bound typescript volumes, No. 1 copy and No. 2 copy, with annotations : 'Journal of a tour round the world via the Suez Canal, Colombo, Australia, New Zealand, Samoa and Canada by James Berry, F.R.C.S. accompanied by a young friend and patient Alfred Garrett in March to August of the year 1892.' Each copy has 14 sheets enclosed which are reproduced sketches of those in original manuscript. No. 1 copy also has an enclosure noting loan and return of journal from Mr Appleyard.

9: 14 letters written by James Berry to his first wife Dr Frances May Dickinson during April -July 1892 whilst on tour and 1 letter to May dated February 12th 1893.
10: 4 letters by Dr Clouting to James Berry (1 incomplete) concerning Berry's journal of 1892
11: 1 letter from Veronica Medwood (Wimbledon Common) dated July 18th 1943, unable to publish the manuscript due to paper shortage.
12: 1 letter to Lady Berry from Cassel and Company dated 2nd January 1957, unable to publish manuscript as not popular enough.
13: 1 annotated envelope containing 16 photos (envelope notes 14) of the pen and ink sketches in the manuscript 'Journal of a tour round the world..1892'.
14: 2 manuscript listing of sketches and diagrams in 'Journal round the world 1892'.
15: 3 sheets noting illustrations to be photographed by Mr Groves and 2 envelopes with annotations concerning the sketches/ photographs.
16: 2 letters: May 2nd to Art from Clara, May 4th to Arthur from Maude.
