The Oath Rolls, Sacrament Certificates and Sessions Files were found in three places: among miscellaneous Corporation records in a series of boxes labelled Z in the Muniment Room, among documents deposited by the Clerk of the Peace in 1936 and kept in a series of boxes labelled W and among documents which had passed into the custody of the City Librarian and were transferred to the Record Office in 1960. They have been re-united in the following lists with the distinguishing letters (Z), (W) or (L) to indicate provenance.
