By ELIZABETH SHORE of Chichester, widow, and JOHN SHORE late of the Inner Temple, London and then of Chichester, gent., only son of the said Elizabeth Shore (1) the Revd. WILLIAM WADE, clerk, one of the Prebendaries of Chichester Cathedral, and WILLIAM TUTTE of Chichester, gent. (2) to RICHARD SEARLE of Petersfield, gent., of the Mortgage dated 30 May, 1735 (No. SAS-K/426)
Assigned 11 May, 1738, to Elizabeth Shore and John Shore for £763 and a further advance of £437 (see No. SAS-K/438)
And reciting that the whole sum was unpaid except £34 6 3 received of William Maxwell the present tenant for rent. There was then due £1350 18 9 being considerably more than the mortgaged premises were worth and it was agreed that a conveyance of the reversion, freehold, inheritance of the said premises shall be taken and made unto and in the name and for the only sole and proper use of the said Elizabeth Shore
By the present deed the Mortgage was assigned to William Wade and William Tutte upon trust for the said Elizabeth Shore to attend and wait upon the freehold

Endorsed deed 27 October, 1753 of Assignment to JOSHUA IRONMONGER of Whorrell, co. Southants, esq. in trust for SIR MATTHEW FETHERSTONHAUGH of Up Park, co. Sussex, baronet, who had purchased the property of Elizabeth Shore for £1200
