The lodge was established in 1778 but never named. In 1778 the lodge met at the Marquis of Grandy, Sheerness, Kent and in 1792 the lodge moved to the Masons' Arms, Sheerness. The lodge warrant was delivered up to Grand Lodge in 1795.
