Jury: William Paynter, William Flamank, William Werry, Peter Treleaven, John Edwards, Samuel Faro, John Wills, James Melhuish, James Nicholls, Henry Udy, Matthew Willington, William Treverton, John Blamey, John Hawkey.

Clerk of the Peace to prosecute Thomas Kitchen of Sithney, yeoman, for plundering casks of wine from vessel wrecked at Gunwalloe on 6 Feb. 1776.

Appearance of John Couch of St Ives, victualler, to answer charges: held over, due to his inability to attend.

Application of Mawgan in Meneage concerning female bastard child, born 21 April 1776 to Jane Thomas; putative father William Harvey of Crowan: maintenance and lying-in costs awarded.

Ann Francis of St Mary's, Truro, spinster; convicted of stealing lace, value 6d., from Jane and Ann Richards: to be privately whipped.

Elizabeth Boddy of St Stephens in Brannel, spinster; acquitted of stealing a pair of men's shoes from Nicholas Clemowe.

John Tonkyn, labourer, and Richard Reed, blacksmith, both of St Agnes; convicted of stealing 4 iron bolts from John Thomas, value 2d.: private whipping and 1 month in bridewell.

Francis Cundy of Lower St Columb, yeoman; convicted of stealing 16 gallons of un-winnowed corn from Edward Martyn, gent., value 6d.: committed to bridewell for one month.

John Wilcock of Lanreath, labourer; acquitted of stealing a pair of silver buckles from Moses Emanuel.

William Trebilcock of Kea, yeoman; convicted of assault on Richard Nicholls: fined 6d and committed to bridewell for 1 month.

Thomas Cock of Luxulyan: fined 100s. for not attending as juryman.

Richard and William Sweet, both of Withiel; pleaded guilty to assault: fined 6d. each.

Prosecution by Thomas Davis of Sithney against Patrick Smith als McPatt als Paddy, for assault: to be held over due to prosecutor's illness.

Scire facias to be issued against Elizabeth Bear of Helland for refusing to obey bastardy order of Midsummer sessions, 1774.

Thomas Body, William Body, James Trethewy and Elizabeth Body, all of St Stephens in Brannell, and Jane, wife of Matthew Roberts of Luxulyan; pleaded guilty to assault: fined 1d. each.

Salary of Robert Bennett, surgeon to the gaol: to be paid.

Continued appeal of Falmouth parish concerning Mary Pascoe: to be further held over.
