Files Each form of application records the full name and address of applicant; age and marital status; present occupation experience in land cultivation and length of residence in the county of each applicant; details of military service (date of enrolment, name of unit and rank) if any; whether the applicant is a woman certified by the Min. of Ag. & Fisheries to have engaged in whole time employment in agricultural work for a period of not less than six months during the last War; whether the applicant holds any agricultural land exceeding 1 acre and, if so, from whom, the extent, and if (and when) quitting; amount of arable or pasture land required and in which district; whether applicant undertakes to cultivate the land personally, desires to purchase or hire the land applied for (proportion of purchase money the applicant will pay upon completion and rent per acre the applicant is prepared to pay, in each case); whether applicant has sufficient capital to work the holding with particulars of such capital; and name and address of referee for applicant.

Some forms have a slightly different format and are endorsed with details of number of years served overseas; number of acres of land presently held from Beds C.C.; and whether or not this is the applicant's first application.
