Kingston County Petty Sessional Division (at 1950) comprised Malden, Surbiton and Esher. In 1965, under the 1963 London Government Act, Esher became a separate petty sessional division; in 1966 it was transferred to the new division of Esher and Walton. The remainder of Kingston County Division was renamed Malden and Surbiton Division.
Kingston Borough Petty Sessions became the Petty Sessional Division of Kingston in the County of South West London in 1965 and amalgamated, under the same title, with the Malden and Surbiton Division in 1973.
