Republic of Ireland, east coast. 'Plan of part of the Bay of Dublin extending from Dunleary to Sandy Cove with the Piers of the New Harbour of Dunleary'. Plan shows coastline, hydrography, jetties, topography, roads, settlements, military installations (martello towers), land marks, sight lines and remarks (including mention of spring tide of 17 December 1815). Engraved. North point (orientation to east north east) with compass indicator and magnetic north indicated. Scale: 7.25 inches to 30 English chains; 7 inches to 1800 feet. By John Rennie, London, 10 May 1820; engraved by J Walker. Annotated (in black ink): '(Three Copies)'
