Description

Assignment from Hannah James of Alcester spinster, surviving executrix of the will of John Dobbins late of Alcester deceased, with the consent of Peter Haines of Alcester baker (son and heir and devisee under the will of Peter Haines yeoman deceased and nephew and heir of Thomas Haines late of Westington in the parish of Chipping Campden, co. Gloucs., blacksmith deceased) and Thomas Morris of Alcester baker (which said Peter Haines party hereto and Thomas Morris married Jane and Elizabeth the two only daughters of Samuel Dobbins late of Alcester grazier deceased and were, with the said Hannah James joint executors of the will of Samuel Dobbins) to Thomas Heming of Alcester mercer, for £250 paid by Peter Haines party hereto, of a mortgage dated 12 December 1760 from Peter Haines party hereto to Peter Haines of Aston Subedge, co. Gloucs., blacksmith of three quarters of a yardland in Broad Marston and Pebworth known as Keys or Robbins and a close of pasture in Broad Marston known as Yellows for £1000 years to secure £220; which mortgage by indenture of 12 July 1765 had been assigned from the said Peter Haines of Weston Subedge to the said Samuel Dobbins and Hannah James, the executor and executrix of the said John Dobbins; to hold the same to the said Thomas Heming for the residue of the said term of 1000 years in trust for the said Peter Haines party hereto.
