Jack Milne worked as an engineer and Chief Draftsman at White & Poppé Ltd., Coventry from 1914 and before that for White & Robinson. When White & Poppé was taken over by Dennis Bros Ltd in 1919 he may have moved to Guildford with them, and he certainly retired from them in 1954.
