28 April 14 James (1616) William Fox late of Ludford esq deceased and Charles Fox late of Greet esq and William Prior of Woolhope esq,(before George Hall and Roger Gough bailiffs of the City of Worcester and William Myatt esq, clerk of debts of merchants) became bound to Sir Thomas Harris late of Boreatton Bart. decd, as Thomas Harris of the town of Salop esq, in £5000 to be paid on St Bartholomew Day next, with defeazances, that it should be void on performance of covenance in an indenture of 4 August 13 James (1615)

13 May 16 James (1618) William Fox, Charles Fox, William Prior, and Richard Wright of the Inner Temple gentleman, by statute staple, were bound to Sir Sebastian Harvey in £5000, defeazance on performance of covenants in indentures of 12 May 16 James

Popham and his wife assign these to Robert Charlton with power to act for them and take the advantage. Popham covenants not to frustrate the statutes and empowers Charlton to do so.
Of John Popham of Littlecott esq and Mary his wife, daughter and heir of Sir Sebastian Harvey Knight deceased, late citizen and alderman of London, and Edward Fox of Stinton alias Steventon esq.
Confirmation to Robert Charlton of London and Jobe Charlton his son and heir, of the manor or lordship of Ludford, the capital messuage called St Giles House in Ludford, a common called Whitecliffe, and a leasowe near Ledwich Gate and Halton furlonge, with view of frankpledge; to hold to Charlton and the heirs of his body on the body of Francys Eyton daughter of Sir Phillipp Eyton late of Eyton co Salop knight deceased; in default to heirs of his body on the body of Martha Briggs, daughter of Morton Briggs of Haughton co Salop esq; in default to Robert Charlton and Jobe Charlton and their heirs
