Include statement of the comparative cost of producing a ton of soda ash by the Leblanc process at Widnes and the Solvay process at Winsford by Ludwig Mond (n.d. prob. 1872), "Description des perfectionnements apportés au procédé de fabrication des carbonates de soude au moyen de 1'ammoniaque et de 1'acide carbonique par Ernest Solvay" (n.d. prob. 1872), estimates for the comparative cost of erecting plants for the production of 5, 6, 10 and 12 tons of sods respectively, per day, by Mond (n.d. presumably 1872) and estimate for the cost of the Winnington estate and expenditure required thereon, in the hand of John Brunner (n.d. presumably 1872-3). Also include a note on the relative "makes" of Brunner, Mond & Co and Gaskell, Deacon and Co of Widnes, 1876.
