Mr Lambert set up his studio on the corner of Short Brackland and Well Street in Bury St. Edmunds in 1937. After his return from war service in the Royal Air Force, he restarted the business in 1947 and continued until he retired in 1958.
Many of the photographs are in the form of glass negatives.
