The Social Lodge was named and established in 1777 and met at the Horn, High Street, Braintree, Essex. In 1784 the lodge moved from Braintree to Bocking, Essex, meeting at the White Hart, Bocking Road. The lodge's last register is in 1791 and the lodge lapsed about 1798.
