Wisbech Dock and River Nene Improvement

Description:

1. Diversion of channel of River Nene into a new cut, from North Bank (brewery), Wisbech, terminating near the county boundary of Cambridgeshire/Norfolk.

2. A road along the Western Bank of the diversion.

3. A road along the Eastern Bank of the diversion.

4. A bridge across the new cut to the North-West of the junction of New Chapel Road, with North Brink.

5. A bridge from Pickards Lane, Wisbech, across the new cut.

6. A bridge to carry the Leverington Road across to a point near the Goods Station.

7. A bridge across the new cut to the North of No. 6.

8. Construction of a dock or float, with all necessary basins, gates, sluices, etc. commencing at the bridge connecting Bridge Street and Cornhill, and terminating near Bannister Row.

9. Construction of a bridge across the Wisbech canal.

In the parishes of Wisbech St. Peter and Leverington (both in the county of Cambridgeshire).
