Includes: 4 letters and a pc from King and a letter and 2 cards from his wife Ruth; 3 letters from solicitors Rubinstein Nash who read the book for libel; 1 letter and counsel's opinion by Michael Kempston from solicitors Bircham & Co who read the book for libel for the printers; 3 letters from publishers Sidgwick & Jackson who contract to publish the book then decline because of the risk of libel; a reader's report by Philippa Fraser Harrison. Accompanied by the production and publicity files, and a folder of their legal correspondence provided by Sidgwick & Jackson.
