Probate copy of will.
Testator : William Davies of Newtowne [Newtown], co. Mtg.
To wife, Rebeccah Davies, 2 messuages and appurts. called Glan Dyfnant als. Tir y Joyner, and Tuy yn Tir y Gyfrinach in Penstrowed, co. Mtg., to enable her to pay debts and legacies and bring up his younger children.
To eldest dau., Rebeccah, wife of David Richards, £50 in payment of a legacy left her by her aunt Rebeccah.
Messuage and appurts. where testator lives to his wife, Rebeccah, tog. with Meeting House, garden, etc. for life, then to eldest son, Benjamin Davies on condition that if his substance is unable to pay debts, portions/legacies, Benjamin is to pay £20 to his bro. or sister as his wife shall direct; remainder to youngest son, Wm. Davies.
£50 to youngest son, William Davies, to be used for settling him in some useful trade.
Executrix : Rebeccah Davies, his wife.
