Thanks her for contribution for relief of distressed Irish and for 'delightful and interesting letter'. Discusses progress of women's cause: 'Baldwin is very good in the art of speaking encouragingly; but will he do anything?' In Ireland under 'the worst and feeblest of Governments' attempt has been made to curtail women's rights.
