Description

Richd. How II (Leipzig) to Richd. How I. Very long account of the "Oeconomical Riddle", which apparently consists principally in two things; a new design of plough, something similar to the Hertfordshire plough; & a new rotation of crops, basically a reduction from a three-field to a two-field system. The inventor & promoters want How to put their proposals before Parliament. One of them is willing to come over to England to explain the secrets if his expenses are paid. Only T. Arnold & "T.T." know about this.
