Description

The records comprise court rolls for the manors of Beddington, Bandon (or Fosters), Ravensbury and Walton on the Hill, manorial accounts and rentals, and a miscellaneous section of deeds from the 12th to the 17th century. They also include a copy of the Parliamentary Bill for making the Surrey Iron Railway. The letters of incorporation of the Submarine Telegraph Company 1851, and two letters patent for improvements in roads have no prima facie association with the Carews (see 2163/10/1-3).
