Gift with warranty from Henry Williams, clerk, to Arthur Gregory, esq., of the advowson of the parish church of Corley, late belonging to the cathedral church of the Blessed Mary of Coventry, now dissolved, which advowson the said Henry Williams lately purchased of Richard Fox, clerk, by deed dated 30 May last [no. 244] and which Henry Waver of Coventr', mercer, purchased from Richard Andrewes and Leonard Chamberleyne who had acquired it from the crown by letters patent dated 22 June, 34 Henry VIII [1542].
