Folio 187. Post Office Telegram from James Saunders, Clerk to East Dereham Local Board to Secretary of Local Government Board, SW. It states 'Dereham and Fakenham Times published every Saturday will be on 25 instant matter to appear must not be sent later than the Wednesday before publication'.
Annotated" Copy telegram out, [illegible]. Draft Provincial order goes to you tonight and must be returned by Monday next', 14 April 1885.
Annotated: '[Mr Porter] Mr Cooper the [illegible] and agent for the company in this case called yesterday to ask whether he could see a draft of the order. What do you say? It is important that the Local Board and Company should agree and as the order incorporates the only provision asked by the company I do not see any objection to it being sent to the company's agent', 17 April 1885.
Annotated: 'Today, underwrite a form of the draft to [Mr Cooper]', 17 April 1885.
