During the 1970s David Morgan Rees photographed a large number of craftsmen at work. Many of these people are now dead and his collection contains a unique record of working that is no longer practiced. The Learning Centre houses the collection of negatives, all now catalogued, and around 60 images have been printed in large format for exhibition use in galleries and museums throughout Yorkshire.
