Description

J. Claus (Amsterdam) to Theodore Eccleston. About negotiations for freeing prisoners & difficulty of sending letters to them : in touch with Memorau at Maquenes of Tangier. Charity for Frederickstadt Friends -... Translating one of Eccleston's epistles, copy to be sent by Nicholas Rust - The troublesome member of their meeting has now formed his own meeting - Richd. Baker. a skinner, some time ago brought his brother's son to Holland, & the writer with Pieter Hend? & Wm. Zervel, found him a place to board, but since then they have heard nothing from Richd. Baker, & no payment.
