Deed to declare the uses of a fine

1. James Mardon, late of Moretonhampstead, now of Mint Street in the borough of Southwark, Surrey, sergemaker, Mary Mardon of Kenn, spinster, and John Smale of Exeter, fuller, and Ann his wife, late Ann Mardon, spinster

2. William Smale the younger of Moretonhampstead, yeoman

Premises: 1. own as tenants in common one dwellinghouse and garden formerly in the possession of John Mardon, dwellinghouses and garden called Egypt, one dwellinghouse called Whiteways and one field called Rack Mead, and a fine was levied of all the premises. The dwellinghouse and garden formerly John Mardon's is conveyed to Thomas Neck, James Mardon is to have Egypt, Mary Mardon is to have Whiteways and John Smale is to pay Mary Mardon £20 and have Rack Mead

Uses: 2. is to hold Egypt to the use of James Mardon
