Volume of press cuttings, apparently collected by Samuel Whitbread II (1764-1815). It includes material on international, national and local affairs, with cuttings and political broadsheets etc. Subject matter includes:
The London Corresponding Society.
Parliamentary reform, constitutional societies etc (rules), and printed broadsheets of several societies, e.g. Sheffield, Norwich, Warwickshire, Northumberland and Hertfordshire.
Impeachment of Lord Melville, 1805-6.
Death of William Pitt, 1806
