[1846] Form of appointment of a deputy by John Rogers, Esq., Sheriff, at the election of a Member of Parliament for the Borough and City and County of the City held this morning.

[Post Sept. 1846] Note that the order for payment of 16/- to Mrs. Meakin for the silver oar held by her late husband as his badge of office is dated 11th Sept. 1846 - and the order for payment is signed by Messrs. Wardell, C.Potts and S.J. Roberts, countersigned by the Town Clerk. The money was paid 8 Sept. 1846.

15th July 1846. A certificate of the amount of arrears due from the Corporation of Chester in respect of certain rents in charge on the Crown Rental for the Lordship of Bromfield and Yale, co. Denbigh, in the custody of the Keeper of Her Majesty's Land Revenue Records and Inrolments on the 10th day of October 1845. "The whole of these arrears have been regularly kept in charge to the present time. (signed) T.R. Fearnside 15th July 1846".
