Records of the Scott family of Great Barr, later Bateman-Scott. The property was in and around Aldridge and Great Barr, Staffordshire. The early deeds were calendared in 1915 as the papers of Lady Scott d. 1910; the later papers were originally listed as the documents of the late Sir A D Bateman-Scotts Trust, but the provenance of both collections, and unlisted material subsequently received by the City Archives under the reference MS 1900, is the same. All this material will eventually be catalogued as part of MS 3883.
