[2] Edward Robyns of Leeds, baker, on 7th January, 1599/1600, at Leeds assaulted John Tray.
[3] A public and common bridge on the highway within the hundred of Twyford, commonly called Twiford Bridge [sic] for some years has been in a bad state of repair, which bridge should be repaired by the inhabitants of Twyford hundred.

Robert Hayman each fined 4d.
Robert Curche each fined 4d.
Thomas Coveney, the elder each fined 4d.
Richard Barham each fined 4d.
Richard Horden each fined 4d.
[4] John Shawe of Boxley, carpenter, Thomas Barwicke of Boxley, husbandman, and John Platt of Boxley, husbandman, on 27th November, 1599, between 10 and 11 p. m. at night, broke and entered the close of Edward Burbage of Detling, yeoman, at Boxley, and assaulted Roger Mylles.
[In margin] Appeared 23rd September, 1600, and fine of each assessed at 2s. 6d.
[5] Alexander Weldishe of Hunton, tippler, between 20th September, 1599, and 30th March, 1600, at Hunton kept a common tippling house without a licence, and sold bread ale and beer.
[6] A public and common bridge on the highway in Benenden in the hundred of Selbrittenden for some years has been in a bad state of repair, which bridge should be repaired by the inhabitants of Selbrittenden hundred.
[in margin] George Petter the elder, William Muncke, George Petter, the younger, John Woodgate of Sandhurst, yeomen, inhabitants of Selbrittenden hundred.
[7] The inhabitants of the seven hundreds anciently, that is before 5 Henry IV [1403-4], have been accustomed to keep sea watch in time of war on the coast at Denge Marsh, with twelve men each day and night. But during the recent war, from 10 October, 1599, until 30 October following, they refused to keep watches there, with no little risk to the realm, and contrary to statute of 5 Henry IV.
[In margin] Thomas Sheafe of Cranbrook, gentleman, Edward Gyllon of Benenden, gentleman, John Besbeeche of Biddenden, yeoman, William Scott of Hawkhurst, gentleman, Thomas Crooche of Rolvenden, yeoman, Richard Jervis of Woodchurch, yeoman, and Gregory Odyarne of Halden, yeoman, inhabitants of the seven hundreds.
[8] Andrew Baker of Sundridge, yeoman, on 1st July, 1599, at Sundridge, assaulted William Brightred and Joan, his wife.
[In margin] 23rd September, 1600, he appeared, and his fine assessed at 20s.
