Benevolent Lodge was established in 1788 and named in 1804. In 1788 the Lodge met at an unknown location in St. John's, Newfoundland, North America. In 1796 the Lodge moved to the London Tavern, St. John's, Newfoundland. The Lodge made its last payment to Grand Lodge in 1825 and was erased in 1853.
