Strefford
28 (vicesimo plain, octavo almost obliterated)
Peter Clerke of Norbury co Salop, yeoman, has given and confirmed to Roger Baker and Thomas (Home) yeomen a messuage with appurtenances in Streford co Salop, containing ½ virgate of land, lying in Streford als Stretford, according to the form of a conditions, viz. to hold to use of Peter Clerke, Anne his wife, for their lives and after to use of Peter's heirs by Anne, to hold of the chief lord etc, and for want of issue to Peter's heirs.
Mark. Fragment of seal, red wax, on parchment tag.
Endorsed:- Witnesses to sealing and livery of seizin: and to attachment of Thomas Jennys, John Jorrycke, Charles Bawden, William Hyckes, Richard Posterne thelder, Rychard Posterne the yonger, Thomas Verycke, Thomas Posterne son of Rychard Posterne thelder, William Posterne his brother.
