It is agreed in the assembly, and expressed by the mouth of William Tenche, gent, their speaker, that the indenture now made and ingrossed between the bailiffs and burgesses on the one part and William Jones, William Hearinge and Ric. Gardner on the other for the making of a conduit head, shall be sealed with the common seal of the town.
Every inhabitant of the town and suburbs shall find a labourer or iiiid in money at such time as the bailiffs shall appoint "for the filling up of the sayd poole with earthe and the make the same firme ground".
