The objectives of the Company were to act as agents for the control of the output and selling of coal raised at the collieries of members of the Association. Members were Fountain and Burnley, Wharncliffe Woodmoor Colliery Co. Ltd., George Fountain & Son Ltd. and Fountain & Son Ltd. Charles Edward Copley, Chartered Accountant, was appointed Secretary of the Company, which was registered in 1931.
