Description

Incorporates a coverless smaller book containing the court book for 1773, 1781, 1784-1785, sewn in at front.

The pages of entries for 1781, 1784-1785 are countersigned by Christopher Aglionby.

The entries throughout are of admittances and surrenders only; full details of rents and services (boon-days) due from each tenement each time. A few extracts from tenants' wills (e.g. page 167, will proved in 1891) are included.

Also includes :-

Copies of five Awards of Enfranchisement (approved by by the Board of Agriculture); that for 1902 includes plan, 1894 - 1902

One admittance, and one formal notice from tenant's solicitor re same, 1898 and 1903

Modern copies of court roll for 1893 (no business done) and 1895 (proclamations on deaths),

Copies post-1960

Pasted inside front cover is the form of wording of lord's licence as used in this Manor in October 1876.
