Conveyance by lease and release from John Watson of Warwick, tanner, and Anne his wife (one of the daughters of Caleb Perkes, late of Snitterfield, yeoman) to Thomas Cookes of Billesley, gentleman, for £130, of their part of half a messuage in Snitterfield in the tenures of Richard Savery and John Evans, together with half of several parcels of land (specified) amounting to half a yardland; which premises lately belonged to William Webbe and descended to his four daughters, [sic or rather sisters] and were partitioned by deed of 21 April 1669 (no. 95) whereby half the said messuage and the above lands were allotted to Caleb Perkes, who by his will, dated 17 March 1700 and proved 16 October 1701, devised the same to his two daughters, the said Anne Watson and Sarah wife of the said Thomas Cookes.
