This morning I received a visit from Messrs Thomas and Fields of Armstrong Siddeley Motors, concerning the installation of the Sapphire Sa.6 and Sa.7 engines in the Vulcan. The memo then goes on to detail the modification work required for the Vulcan to carry Sapphire engines
