Plan of East Lavant Farm and sundry Lands the Property of His Grace the Duke of Richmond. Surveyed & Drawn by E. Fuller. 26.6 in. to 1 m.
1096a. in three portions of which the largest is in the eastern half of the parish, another portion (about 125a.) is in the S.W. of the parish, and the third portion (Lavant Marsh with a few strips indicated) is on the boundaries of East and Mid Lavant. Field-names; names of adjacent owners or properties. State of cultivation indicated by colour. Shows 'Rooks Hill Trundle' and other high ground by hachures. Shows 'Rook Hill' post-mill in perspective view, but all other buildings are in block plan; trees and hedges are also drawn in perspective and some attempt made to distinguish varieties of trees. Note line of entrenchment across Old Broile Common where a marl pit is also marked; another chalk pit, with kilns, is shown to the E. of the Old London Road. Pound on Lavant Marsh. A finely drawn map boldly coloured.
