1 Development position. 92 hours running have been carried out during the period, making a total of 10,211 hours. The following work has been carried out: A 25-hour special category test has been carried out on P.102 to obtain flight approval for the ECU modified to enable it to be put out of action at will. Following the test the engine was used for proof testing of the 2nd and 3rd units which are now available for the Wyvern Turbo-starting tests Turbine disc temperature measurements P.103: This engine has completed a two-hour prior to a 25-hour category test Second row turbine blade failure Acceleration control Oil pump failure Jet pipe temperature control Diaphragm materials Twisted torsion bars Rear propeller shaft nut and piston ring seal Production flow controls
