He is sorry Hill's want of health keeps him from London, for which place he intends to start in a fortnight's time if the bad weather does not prevent him, and to make Richmont in his road. He had intended to set out that day, but the roads & waters continued so deep & bad. He has told Mr. Sandford of Hill's readiness to comply with him in receiving his £1,400 mortgage debt. They want no assignment & will be content with Hill's receipt.
