Thomas Upton, labourer of Hambrook, and John Cuss of Mangotsfield gave similar evidence.

Charles Woodyatt, coal-dealer of Ledbury helped offender and another man to remove goods between midnight and 1 am on 7 August. Goods thought to be hidden on Noah Jones' premises. Dresser retrieved from Mary Philips who had lived until recently with Thomas Jones.

Offender did not appear.

Fined £20 12s 6d - double the value of the goods - to be paid by 24 September 1834
