Post-bound album, 305x422mm, with missing covers and pages tied together with orange cord. Only the front free endpaper covers the first page of prints. The prints are mounted with adhesive corner mounts, several to a page, and are captioned by hand. The photographs are mainly snaphots views and portraits with a few additional professional portraits. Prints 1-39 Views and portraits in Chitral during a trek to Kashmir via Gilgit, April-June 1935, including mountain scenery, Mastuj, village scenes, glaciers and camps. Prints 40-99 Views and portraits in Gilgit Agency, April-June 1935, including paying hill porters, Darkot, Naltar Valley, Hunza, Aliabad, Baltit Fort, portrait of the Mir of Hunza and sons, Hispar Glacier and camps. Prints 100-107 Portraits and views in Kashmir, including bearers and orderlies and Srinagar. Prints 108-114 South Waziristan Scouts Inter-Wing Sports, 1935-36, including portraits of winning teams, tug-of-war, athletics and football.
