View of the grounds and buildings of the Aged Pilgrims' Asylum in Hornsey Rise, London, built in 1870. The institution name is in a banner at the base of the photograph, with North View written on each side, which may wither relate to the direction of the view or to the publisher. Two women in cloaks can be seen at the front of the asylum. On the reverse of the card is printed: '1,649 Pensioners, 120 inmates. £43 daily expenditure', indicating that this may be a fundraising postcard.
