4 Production: (a) The production policy for the 2.3 and 3.4 litre moor car is covered in my notes to Sir Frank on the 25 August, and the policy outline has been accepted. (b) Today there are 43 Hurricanes, 109 4-light Whitleys, 94 6-light Whitleys, and 27 Station Coupes yet to be delivered. Of this total of 274 cars, 92 are at agents SOR, 267 are completely built and 7 are yet to be finished. (c) Apart from 15 cars for America, other orders today are 750 home and 200 export. To these figures, we should consider another 450 cars to be delivered to America this year, plus CKD requirements for Minerva to start in June at the rate of 12 per month. After, therefore, we have under consideration the 26 cars delivered to the home and 58 delivered to the export markets, we have 724 home; 142 export; 450 USA; 84 Belgium; Total 1400 cars
