p.197. 30 Dec. 1913. A further purchase of the Mound to be made from Mr Whitton, which will enable access to be given to the Castle through the now blocked vest barbican
p.229. 10 July 1914. Sir H.B. Bacon voted to the chair, in the absence through illness of Canon Hutton (who resigns from the finance and general purposes Committee)
p.235. Emergency meeting, 5 Aug. 1914. Old prison and assize courts to be used for the mobilisation of reservists. (It was re-opened to the public in April 1915, see P.271.)
