Inett Homes was born on a Hop Farm near Bosbury in 1914.
By training he was an Agricultural Engineer. His interest in, and knowledge of hops and many aspects of Industrial Archaeology were widely respected.
From 1973 until his death in 1987 he was Industrial Archaeological recorder for the Woolhope Club and the majority of rough notes date from this time.
