Xerox copy of court book, styled 'court leet and view of frankpledge', containing half-yearly entries which are formal lists of officers and jurors until Apr.1741 and full records of presentments and orders from Oct.1741. Regular business includes landing of goods on the moor, cutting 'lavers', feeding geese, overstocking the moor, driving of wagons by strangers across the moor, sheep breaking bounds, repairs to bridges, gates and 'hatches', and beating of bounds by the reeve.
Presentment of persons assaulting the hayward, 1747, and the reeve, 1752. 66 fos.
