Ely and Newmarket Railway, Junction Lines

Description:

1. Construction of a railway commencing by a junction with the G.E.R. line 220 yards South of Ely Station, and terminating by a junction with the Newmarket and Bury branch of the G.E.R. near where the railway goes under the road from Newmarket to Bury St. Edmunds.

2. A short junction railway commencing at the termination of railway No. 1, and terminating by a junction with the Newmarket & Bury Railway at a point approximately six furlongs (1,320 yards) North-Eastwards of Railway No. 1.

Passing through the following parishes;

1. Intermixed parishes of Ely St. Mary and Ely Trinity, Ely Trinity, Soham, Fordham, Snailwell (all co. Cambridgeshire).

- Exning, (co. Suffolk).

2. Snailwell (co. Cambridgeshire).
