Articles of agreement.
1) Rev. Thomas Gisborne of Yoxall Lodge, Yoxall (Staff.).
2) William Strutt of Derby, esq.
Reciting intention of (1) to sell for £21,350 property as detailed now (1) to (2) to make out good title and convey property as follows; Eleys Orchard (5a. 0r. 15p.) with messuage standing thereon purchased by (1) from Thomas Bainbrigge and Thomas Eley respectively; also the Great Darley Close (4a. 3r. 17p.) occ. Mr. Lattuffiere and the Little Darley Close occ. Dr. Butler; and small parcel (0a. 3r. 23p.) on west of Great Darley Close rented by Mr. Lattuffiere; all three parcels purchased from Thomas Bainbrigge; also parcel of land (4a.) occ. of, and purchased from James Allsopp; also parcel of land (16a. 2r. 15p.) formerly carriage road leading out of Kedleston Turnpike opposite Lodge Lane in northeastwardly direction, detailed location given, now stopped up and land awarded to (1) in consideration of land given up by (1) for widening Darley Lane, Darley Lane and Darley Grove east, Grove Close belonging to (1) west; and all tithes except easter dues; and all rents etc. from 25 March 1807; recovery to be suffered by (1) concerning property; capital messuage with offices, buildings, courts, yards, gardens, fish ponds, pleasure grounds, coach houses stables and other buildings in or near Bridge Gate p. of St. Alkmunds, Derby. With rights to pew in Church of St. Alkmund, parcel of land (14a. 1r. 22p.) part of Grove Close, former road, as above, east, turnpike road to Kedleston south, Duffield west; and the Grove north; also the Grove (1a. 1r. 35p.), with summer house, all in p. of St. Alkmund, and occ. of John Crompton as lessee of (1); also Near Morley Close (5a. 0r. 27p.) and Far Morley Close (4a. 1r. 3p.) occ. John Watson; also the Near Cap Croft (1a. 3r. 33p.), Lodge Lane south east, and Kedleston Turnpike road east or northeast, occ. John Watson; also part (2a. 1r. 2p.) of Middle Cap Croft, White Stoop and Rye Flat Closes otherwise Parkers Flat, occ. John Watson, in p. of St. Alkmund; also messuage in Bridge Gate occ. John Horrocks; and all other property of (1) in p. of St. Alkmund between Darley Lane and Darley Grove east, Bridge Gate south, Kedleston & Duffield turnpike roads west, Morley Closes north; and all tithes relating to said property, except Easter dues.
