Administrative / biographical background

The Thanet Lodge was named and established in 1785 and met at the Parade Hotel, The Parade, Margate, Kent. In 1826 the lodge moved to the Liverpool Arms, Charlotte Square, Margate and the meeting remained there until the lodge was erased in 1829.
